• Regional Transportation District (RTD), Denver, CO - Fare study: stakeholder and public involvement efforts to improve fare equity, affordability and simplicity.
• RTD - Paratransit Advisory Committee (APAC), Denver, CO: working with RTD to improve paratranist services.
• Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT): US85 (I-76 to 124th) Technical Advisory Committee, Brighton, CO - The major north/south  connector with growing development north-east of Denver metro area. 
• CDOT: I-70 East Preferred Alternative Collaborative Team (PACT), Denver, CO - The major east/west highway, with failing viaduct splitting a minority neighborhood, with a local elementary school or tax base at risk.
• Washington DOT: SH 520 Bridge Replacement Impact Plan, Seattle, WA - The major east/west connector across Lake Washington to address bridge fauilure and increased developments needs; widening has significant impacts on one community, as well as environmental impacts.
• Denver: I-25/South Broadway NEPA Process Citizen Consensus Committee, Denver, CO - The major north/south arterial to/from downtown intersection with the major north/south highway; sitting next to a historically listed building and an area zoned for 10 million square feet of mixed use; need to address existing  congestion and future needs with the desire to keep neighborhood character.
• MN & Wis DOTs: St Croix River Crossing Problem-Solving Stakeholder Group - Built agreement to preserve the iconic, historic, narrow, two-lane lift bridge and implement a new bridge to improve mobility and safety for current and future need from development. The agreement addressed: Wild and Scenic River Act elements; the scenic view shed; and avoided or addressed increased development impacts, economics impacts, navigable waters impacts, and environmental impacts.

Urban Planning 

• City of Greeley: West Greeley Citizen Oversight Committee (WG COC), Greeley, CO: The WG COC reviewed finance plans and development plans for the City owned arena/hotel and conference center/year round water park development to assess whether the project should move forward, if the financial risk to taxpayers was worth the benefits of the development. 
• Arapahoe County Strategic Planning (4 projects): County commissioners revised their strategic direction, including detailed messages perceived budget impacts, and developed actions to achieve improved balance and fiscal sustainability. 
• Commerce City: Council Retreats (5 projects) - Council set the priorities for the next year, initiating the months long budget process on the right path.

Environmental Planning 

• Pebble Mine Proposal, Alaska: Situation Assessment - Assessment of issues and stakeholders to develop a public and stakeholder engagement plan for developing a mine proposal
• FWS: Rocky Flats National Wildlife Refuge: Public and Stakeholder Engagement Process - Process to gather input to help determine FWS' protection and enjoyment of the recently DOD cleaned Rocky Flats nuclear trigger production facility that has extensive wildlife and open space.

Recycling 

• Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI): R2 - Electronic Responsible Recycling Standard:  Technical Advisory committee building agreement on revisions to the Standard.
• SERI: Environmental Impact Standard, Technical Advisory Committee: The TAC developed a standard to ensure disclosure of environmental impacts were consistently disclosed and some claims were verified claims. 
• EPA, HQ: Sustainable Financing of Municipal Recycling: Manufactures, interest groups, and municipal representatives discussed financial responsibility for disposal of and how to decrease the amount of EOL packaging in landfills.

Climate Science 

• Climate Science Centers: Northeast; and Southwest
• Landscape Conservation Cooperatives: Desert; Southern Rockies; and Great Plains

Hazardous waste 

• EPA: Shattuck Citizen Advisory Group: Citizens, local, state and federal representatives provided input on removal of the Superfund materials.

• CDC: H1N1 Vaccination Program Level of Effort Public Input Process (8) - 100-people public meetings across the county on controversial vaccination effort.
• CDC: State Pandemic Influenza Planning, Nebraska and Minnesota - NE developed a plan to work with Tribes during a pandemic including tribal public meetings; and MN conducted public meetings on managing scare resources in the event of a pandemic.
• CDC: Vaccine Prioritization Process (8) - 100-people public meetings on how to allocate scarce resources in the event of a pandemic.
• CDC: National Health Goals (6) - Public meetings across the nation that ranked over 75 possible goals and objectives to help CDC set new health goals.

Forestry 

• Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and American Tree Farm System (ATFS): Improve Collaborative Efforts.
• SFI: Standards Review  - Public Meetings: Public input improving the Standard. 
• International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN): Organizational Evaluation of Negotiations Activities, Cameroon (Africa).
• Colorado Roadless Areas Review Task Force and public meetings: Governor and political party appointed members determined recommended management of "roadless" areas in Forest Service lands.

Water Resources 

• South Adams County Water and Sanitation District (SACWSD) - Water Hardness Stakeholder Group: built a consensus recommendation to implement a District hardness filtration system to improve water quality and taste without significant increased costs.
• Snake River Task Force: EPA County, ski resorts, and water and wildlife activist representatives determined how to improve water quality, with or without the draining mine adit becoming a Superfund site.
• Idaho Power - Hells Canyon Complex, Settlement Working Group for Hydro-Relicensing: Over 50 representatives from Federal, state and local agencies,  five tribes, and many interest groups, tried to build agreement on how to manage water quality, quantity, recreation, wildlife, habitat, and energy to relicense the facility.
